So, over the weekend, I watched I Am Legend. For those of you who have yet to watch (like me until last weekend), we all know it's about the disease thingy which spreads and causes reanimation after death and such. But what made me cry was the part when our beloved protagonist, played by Will Smith, was stuck outside during a dangerous time for which he could get killed. And he had his dog, Sam, which had been with him since the start of the entire epidemic. She faithfully stayed by his side even when he was in danger of being attacked by the antagonists. It was fraught with danger, and she (the dog, Sam) protected him, attacking and fighting off the antagonists. But as you know, fights between animals, both sides get injured and as far as these kind of movies go, a single bite would cause infection. Our main character, tried his very hardest to save his best friend, his single and only faithful companion for the past 3 years. He held her, hoping that against all odds, his efforts would save her from the terrifying disease. Alas, he held her in his arms and began to see the changes which affected all the victims. Finally, when she was totally infected, losing all of her previous characteristics, started to turn rabid and attack him. He had little choice, since he didn't want to put her through the torment and using his bare hands, strangled his only friend to death, tears running down his face. The moment of loss, the only precious thing you had, omg. Overwhelmed me so greatly. I have my own dog, if this were to happen to me, I would not have the strength to do it. Of course I couldn't stop crying. =((
Well, that's it for now I guess. I did watch other movies, but I'll save them for later =D Till then,
